Problem Statement

     Currently, the use of multiple devices for work and connecting to the internet is becoming increasingly common. This utilization of multiple devices increases the security risks and threat of exposure to harmful viruses, despite the presence of anti-virus products.

     Thus, a need exists for a warning tool which will allow users to stay secured across multiple devices. This can be achieved by alerting users with a user security score which will enable users to take the relevant actions to prevent and/or undo any harm.

Solution Description

     The design of the present disclosure computes a user's security assessment across the devices he/she uses and then provides an overall user profile security score. More specifically, this design results in a 'weighted' user security score.

     With user consent, computer programs and security products are able to collect a user's specific information. When a user installs a security product from the same vendor onto multiple devices, the user is connected to these devices with a single user ID (an Account based...
