Disclosed is a method and system for implementing sales force calendar crawler to process structured and unstructured calendar data automatically and frequently. The system is also integrated with product offering catalog information to identify whitespace and recommend one or more products which can be presented to customers.

FIG. 1 illustrates a system for implementing a sales force calendar crawler.

As shown in FIG.1, the system includes a sales crawler engine. The sales crawler engine prompts a user to provide (an input) a matrix of products offerings to be offered to customers. In response to receiving the input, the system populates the matrix of product offerings and relevant activities of members of sales team in a database. The system interacts with calendars of members for determining relevant activities of the members. Subsequently, the system analyzes data in the database for creating a singular view. The singular view provides a mapping of products to customers and sales team members. Based on the analysis, the system can also identify whitespaces and recommend a sales team leader for selecting one or more products to be presented to customers. Further, the system provides a meta-data view across entire company to identify resources used for selling a particular product.

In an exemplary embodiment, the sales crawler engine interacts with the calendars of member of the sales team to excavate the calendar data daily. In response of excavation of calendar data, the system daily analyzes meetings related to sales and displays the related meeting data over a dashboard. Additionally, the excavated
