Abstract

Disclosed is a method and system for designing an optimized critical path for a user to avail one or more services at one or more service points.  The method and system reduces waiting time of the user.  The method and system considers live digestion rate of the one or more services at the one or more service points for generating the optimized critical path.

Description

Disclosed is a method and system for providing a user with an optimized critical path in real time such that the user can avail maximum number of services at a service point within a minimum period of time.  The method and system considers live digestion rate of one or more services at a service point for generating the optimized critical path.  The method and system provides an internet based portal for queue management where one or more service providers submit description of one or more activities at one or more service points.  Subsequently, the method or system analyses one or more activities submitted by the one or more service providers and defines a replacement for each type of activity.  Thereafter, as shown in fig. 1 when the user submits an activity plan for availing one or more services at one or more service points, the method and system generates an optimized critical path for the user.  Further, if the user agrees with the optimized critical path, the method and system helps the user to get one or more number slips online and the user can thus finish one or more activities in the least amount of time.

The method and system provides the user with historical information and live digestion rate of one or more services.  The user utilizes the information to decide while opting to avail for one or more services.  Additionally, the method and system aids the user to find replacements for performing one or more activities and thus save more time.

The major components involved in the implementation of the method and system are as shown in fig. 2.  A web portal is a web application built on TCP/IP Internet.  The one or more service providers or users can access the internet based portal via one or more devices such as, but not limited to, personal computer and handheld device.  The web portal enables one or more activities such as, but not limited to, creation of user accounts, area/map management, tag management, map upload, activity plan submission and service point management.
