Disclosed is a method and system disclosed for providing a graphical user interface (GUI) in a device for illustrating a one or more tasks in a game environment . The method and system includes an illustration of an enclosed region within the GUI in

which a user can drag and drop the one or more asks .

In accordance with the method and system, a graphical user interface (GUI) illustrating one or more tasks added to an enclosed region within the GUI is provided to a user on a device of the user as illustrated in the Figure.

The one or more tasks may be one or more of , but not limited to, work on a project, listen to music, jogging, exercising, drive a car and read a book. The user is allowed to drag and drop the one or more tasks in the enclosed region . The tasks may be illustrated in a form of one or more but not limited to , balloons, circles, rectangles and squares, wherein the diameter of the circle or the balloon corresponds to a duration of a task. The enclosed region may be illustrated in the form of a container or a box ,

wherein a height of the box represents time. The height of the enclosed region represents time allotted for each task. For example, 24 hours may be the allotted time for a variety of tasks. The height of the enclosed region may be allotted a time which can be dynamically adjusted and need not be a fixed time . The container or the box

cannot be overfilled by the one or more user tasks by the user .

The user may fill the container or the box with the balloons or circles . The filing of the container or the box depicts the start of the one or more tasks . When the user selects a user task and drops in the enclosed region, then an activity start time of the task starts. When the user removes the task from the enclosed region , then activity time ends.

Each task may be mapped to incentive points. Mapping of tasks to incentive points may be managed automatically or manually based on lifestyle profile or feeds of the user. This allows other users to access lifestyle profile of the user to provide feeds to help the user improve lifestyle. The other users may be one or more, but not limited to, employee evaluations, therapists, psychologists, family members, managers, students/teachers, etc. Additionally, the incentives may be provided to the user based on the adjusted height of the enclosed region thus help the user to optimize the selection of tasks.

A characteristic of the one or more tasks may be mapped to the illustration of the one or more tasks based on points, ID of a user performing a task, creator of the task, task type, etc. The characteristic may be duration of the task or pattern of the task . The method and system may allow the user to access task illustration , content and characteristics from other external sites.
