The quality of written text is poor if the writer uses redundant language, especially within a single sentence or paragraph.

In the following example text, "Rabindranath Tagore" is written multiple times.

Rabindranath Tagore was a Bengali polymath who reshaped Bengali literature and music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Rabindranath Tagore wrote poetry as an eight-year-old. At age sixteen, Rabindranath Tagore released his first substantial

poems under the ps eudonym Bhânusiṃha ("Sun Lion"), which were seized upon by literary authorities as long-lost classics. Rabindranath Tagore graduated to his first short stories and dramas-and the aegis of his birth name-by 1877. As a humanist, universalist internationalist, and strident nationalist Rabindranath Tagore denounced the Raj and advocated independence from Britain. The novel contribution is a method and system for automated reverse anaphora resolution. The system prevents the repetition of a word or phrase within a document. While a writer is in the process of writing a body of text containing keywords, software installed in the computing system identifies the written keyword and highlights existing instances of the keyword in the document. This function also applies to the writing, identification, and highlighting of full sentences. If any keyword repeats in excess of a configured threshold, then the document processing software shows guidelines for rewriting the text.
