Current Human Language Technologies (HLT) systems provide static configuration to create analytic pipelines that automatically parse, tag, and extract knowledge from unstructured text. However, the static configurations have limited capabilities to handle the complex nature of unstructured data.

Disclosed is a dynamic analytic slot based pipeline that links different HLT components to provide event based reasoning from distributed sensors or natural language processing algorithms. An output to input mapping between HLT components is learned with a semi-supervised learning algorithm to create dynamic pipelines for smart filtering, anomaly analysis, and relational analysis. The method and system solves the issue of combinatorial ordering of individual algorithms in smart filtering and combinatorial ordering of individual algorithms in anomaly analysis. In addition, the method and system solves the issue of combinatorial ordering of individual algorithms in relational analysis and evaluation of algorithms with algorithm specific data. Here, an arrangement between a fixed flow analytic pipeline and combinatorial explosion of algorithm ordering provides dynamic analytic pipelines.
