Method and System for Providing Restricted Access to a Head Mounted Augmented Reality Device

Disclosed is a method and system for providing restricted access to a head mounted augmented reality device. The method and system obtains a schedule of a user from a calendar of the user to create different levels of restricted access to the head mounted augmented reality device based on the schedule of the user.

In accordance with the method and system, firstly a schedule of a user is obtained. The schedule may be downloaded by an access management module. The access management module is configured to analyze the schedule and extract relevant information relating to time table and location pertaining to the user. The time table may be for one or more of, but not limited to, a day, a week, a month and a year. Based on the schedule, an administrator may configure the head mounted augmented reality device to define restricted access for a user based on the schedule. For example, the administrator may allow access to the user to one or more applications or content during a specific time of day. Alternately, the administrator may allow access to the user to one or more applications or content when the user is present in a specific location. The administrator may pre-define rules to automatically govern user access to one or more applications in the head mounted augmented reality device according to specific time and location.

In an exemplary scenario, a school calendar schedule of a child is obtained and used to set restricted access to a head mounted augmented reality device by a pare...
