Business analytics and predictive analysis products are available to assist organizations with big data analysis and solution optimization. These tools allow users to analyze optimized segmentation and recommended actions.

One existing system outputs predictive results in Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) format. In order to use those PMML files in an extensive predictive analytics platform, the user must manually import the PMML files and add another set of specific nodes to build a stream within the predictive analytics platform.

A more efficient method is needed to integrate the PMML files from the business analytics tool to the predictive analytics platform .

The novel solution integrates the business analytics tool and the predictive analytics platform client to automatically generate a predictive analytics model stream using PMML files. It detects the pattern of the nodes provided by the PMML files and adds the proper supporting nodes around them within the predictive analytics platform and eliminates the import process .

The integration approach includes adding menu items to accommodate the business analytics tool within the predictive analytics platform interface. Menu items associate the following new functions:


1. Launching the business analytics tool inside the predictive analytics platform
