Disclosed is a method for collaborative search result display with head mounted devices .

A method and system is disclosed by which a group of users can specify one or more photograph, name of object, pattern etc. to find during their travel, activity, etc. If one or more head mounted device come across one or more such predefined requirement / pattern then the same head mounted device communicates with other remaining head mounted devices about the identified information. Other participating head mounted devices show the information received. Associated mobile device of the user can show the direction in the mobile device screen. In some embodiments, other users may have the ability to see icons of what was found (and also, by whom). So if a first user is looking for objects A, B, C, D, E, and a second user sees object B, then when the first user get notified of a match, the first user would see icons showing what the object is, and who saw it in addition to the position. Options may be provided to determine if multiple objects of interest are being viewed.

Head mounted device (e.g. Google Glass

                           ® ) is used for many purposes. The disclosed method utilizes it for collaborative searching.

The usage is illustrated by the following example:

A group of traveler has planned for Wildlife safari. So, they have uploaded different photograph of animals / birds etc they wanted to find in the forest. All members of the Wildlife safari are using head mounted devices so, if any individual device come across with any such animal/ birds (whose photograph are uploaded), then it communicates with other head mounted devices. The other head mounted devices highlight the object. This approach allows all members of the Wildlife safari enjoy and watch the animals.
