Most of the environmental parameters cannot be visualized by human eyes. For example, presence of toxic gases, humidity, and temperature and the corresponding effect on human beings are difficult to visualize. These environmental parameters may impact human beings within the environment. A method and system is required for monitoring the environmental parameters visually and accordingly executing a corrective action.

Disclosed is a method and system for visualizing environmental parameters and virtual avatar impact in a volumetric display. The method and system provides an immersive visualization of an environment and the parameters within the environment. The impact of the environmental parameters on a virtual avatar are displayed visually on a volumetric display and can be recorded, stored, altered, and replayed.

In one embodiment, the method and system allows a user to visualize the environmental parameters of any boundary in a volumetric display with the help of a camera or SONAR mechanism to capture an environment. Different color codes are used to display the environmental parameters such as, but not limited to, presence of CO2, humidity, temperature, and toxic gases within the boundary.

Figure 1 illustrates color coded environmental parameters plotted in a volumetric display.
