In the current day camera's can be one of the sources which can be responsible for personal photo privacy violations. From the analysis of cases registered under personal privacy violations, it can be noted that in most of the scenarios photographer's (can be professionals or common public) are lacking knowledge regarding estimating the individual photo privacy rules for whom he / she is capturing the photograph or photo prohibition enforcement on a location (say buildings, monuments etc).
Here are the few use cases that are emerged due to lack of advocate which identifies the photo privacy preference of object (can be personal / group / buildings) within the focus point and blocks the photographer before he/she captures a privacy protected photograph.
- Assume a scenario where an individual (say Person-X) has set photo privacy (say nobody should take his photograph and share it in public forums). And consider an another individual (say Person-Y) who is entirely a stranger to Person-X and in his casual photo shoot he came across Person-X as the prime focus point.
Here in this scenario listed, the Person-Y has no idea of the photo / video privacy rule set by the Person-X. And the only option left to Person-Y is to talk with Person-X regarding his / her privacy preferences, but in today's busy hours neither of them would have enough time to talk. Hence Person-X would take the photograph (as such there is no stopping force) and Person-Y is not even aware of this photo shoot unless he / she come across his / her photograph on social media / Internet .
- Assume a scenario where a location (building or monument) is set with photo privacy (say nobody should take photograph and share it in public forums). And consider a foreigner (say

Person-Y) who is entirely new to this location, language etc. Now say Person-Y in his casual photo shoot he came across this photo restricted location as prime focus point.
Here in this scenario listed, the Person-Y has no idea of the photo / video privacy rule set for this location. Even though notices of "Photo restricted area" are displayed, assume Person-Y has not observed or did not interpret it properly. Hence Person-Y would take the photograph (as such there is no stopping force) and Person-Y is not even aware of this violation unless the policeman or security guard stops him or destroys the camera.
The core reason for these above discussed situations are that while capturing the photograph, the camera is missing an advocate which hints / blocks the cameraman / photographer regarding the individual (who is in the focal point of the camera) photo privacy preference or photo prohibition enforcement for a location (which is in focal point of the camera).
Core concept is a provision of a system that can be integrated with the cameras (that can be m...
