The present invention proposes a technique to mount a potable fetal monitor to a hospital bed or a tabletop. The technique includes bracket design with dual mounting options to mount the portable fetal monitor. The bracket design is placed or hooked on to the head or footboards of a hospital bed also utilized as an angular platform for place display on a tabletop. Features of the bracket design include a sheet metal frame, a handle piece, handgrips and a hook.

FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention generally relates to a fetal monitor and more particularly to a bracket design with dual mounting option for the fetal monitor.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Generally, a fetal monitor requires accessories for bed mounts which limits usage of accessories on bed rails only.


A conventional technique includes a dedicated bracket for bed mounting or the mount accessory requires locking actions by a caregiver.  However, the conventional technique includes locking actions, which are prone to skidding.

 It would be desirable to have an efficient technique to bed mount the fetal monitor without skidding.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention proposes a technique to mount a potable fetal monitor to a hospital bed or a tabletop.  The technique includes a mounting bracket design with dual mounting options to mount the portable fetal monitor. The bracket is placed or hooked on to head or footboards of a hospital bed. The bracket is also utilized as an angular platform for placing display on a tabletop.
