ABSTRACT

A solution is presented herein to simplify the sharing of content during a collaboration session. The notion of a Smart Group Container is provided to contain multiple objects. Multiple step operations are provided to select different types of objects. The selected objects are classified and editable. A simple double click will trigger default behavior which can be set or will be triggered by smart awareness according to a current context.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

A problem in online meeting/collaboration systems is that it is not easy to operate multiple objects such as sharing documents or other content. For example, when the presenter needs to share two documents with another user, the presenter has to do the following:

1) Click 'share' button or menu item.

2) Open folders and select the files one by one.
3) Select the users with which to share.

Presented herein is a solution to simplify the process of sharing documents or other content. The process is as follows:

1. Select one or multiple objects by one or more steps for the screen or by search.

2. Selected objects will be collected into a Group Container.

3. The operator can edit the selected objects to check it by one quick click.
