Method for Rotation of Content in Transparent Display

A transparent display can be viewed and controlled from both sides. Two or more users can interact with the display from multiple sides of it, simultaneously working with the display. With current technology, the persons viewing content on a transparent display from the non-primary angle see a reversed rendering of characters. This is not a desirable effect.

The novel system and method solve the rendering problem. With the disclosed system and method, a user of any side of a transparent display can rotate the screen content and make the content visible to other users in a proper fashion. While rotating any screen content, a user can make one or more portions of the screen deactivated. Through touch-action, the selected portion of the content is disabled from the view of other parties previewing the display from an alternate side. While rotating any screen content, a user can also mask one or more elements or areas of content, making the content hidden in the rotated screen. The user on the alternate side of the display has editing capabilities once the content is rotated to that side of the display, but cannot disable the masking set by the other part

The novel system and method comprise the following features:


 Flipping content in a transparent display in a split screen so that specific sections of content are rendered in a normal view to parties on multiple sides of the display


 Rotation of content in a transparent display that enables normal rendering to parties in the non-primary viewing area of the display


 Allowable configuration of tagged fields to allow automatic rotation of content based on user preferences


 Configurable 'assisted' mode so that during interactions each party views one-half of the screen; the half each sees is properly rendered


 Controls to set the primary user, on demand

- Allows user to grant viewing permission by changing background from opaque (secure) to transparent (viewable / non-secure) and disable functions


- Allows user to rotate content to another side of the transparent display so that it's viewable to other parties in the proper format

Invention Implementation Steps:

1. In any transparent display, content is displayed in one side, and as the display is transparent, so the content is being displayed is seen from the other side. On the other side, the content is shown from reverse side.

3. Prior to rotating the content, the user may define one or more portions of the content to be masked or disabled so the alternate user does not have access to those portions of content
