    Over the centuries, the human mind has evolved to work with images. The human brain has achieved ability to store images and then recognize, even if re proposed in a partial way or deformed or much later in the time. The following proposal tries to capitalize on this ability of the brain to implement a new type of user "password" identification. On the other hand the human ability to remember and recognize the images is not balanced by an equally fast ability to communicate from one person to another. It is really different to communicate by voice a traditional password versus describing an image. The combination of these two factors, increases the robustness of the solution that is introduced hereunder.

    Today the availability of many devices, often connected to the Internet, requires the need to simplify the organization's identification and authentication. Furthermore, the need to manage multiple devices in different times and ways requires the use of strong passwords that should be changed periodically (and remembered). Unfortunately it is not always possible to do this and often the use of a single password or different passwords but nor really complex does not meet the security and privacy minimum requirements. Conversely, the use of strong passwords while ensuring an adequate level of safety raises the risk of forgetfulness and, consequently, to its tedious recovery task when lost.

    Here is described a system and method that allow to use a simple and effective method to identify and authenticate avoiding the use of complex words and / or phrases but based on:


· a sequence of areas (that is tap in regions) within a multidimensional image


· usage of with a simple touch and/or through a specific finger movement.

    This solution proposed allow to the user to manage a multidimensional image can be rotated with infinity degree of freedom to locate any affected area.
