Abstract

The invention provides an ability to edit vector data to be handled by a computer, such as GIS (Geographic Information System). This idea is directed to the use of "shape" (vertex aggregate range graphic) as a tool for editing the vertices of the vector data representing a pointer used for the transfer and generation of vertices, the range for aggregating vertices. It is realized by performing simultaneous operations using the vertex aggregate shape -- erasing with an eraser and drawing a line with a pencil at the same time.
