Abstract

A magnetized disintegratable material for use in downhole applications. Specifically, a dart with a body made of magnetized ferrous electrolytic metallic capable of activating an electronic triggering mechanism based downhole tool. The dart will pass the tool, electronic triggering mechanism will recognize the magnetic pattern, activating the tool. With time, temperature, and the correct fluid the ferrous electrolytic metallic will completely disintegrate to leave the wellbore unobstructed.
