Method and System for Evaluating Confidentiality of Content to be Displayed on Different Areas of Transparent Flexible Display Devices

Mobile devices that include use of transparent flexible displays provide a user with an ability to view content on a front surface of a display or see through a transparent portion of a transparent flexible display device. When the user reads confidential content on a transparent display, there is a need to consider view of content from backside with context of the bend or fold action. For example, when a transparent flexible display device is displaying confidential content and folded there is a need to restrict viewing of the confidential content through the backside folded over portion of the transparent flexible display device to protect confidential content from being viewed.

Disclosed is a method and system for evaluating confidentiality or sensitivity of content to be displayed on different areas of transparent flexible display devices. The method and system determines portions of a transparent flexible display device bend or fold pattern to be made opaque to block or restrict confidential content viewing navigation based on bending pattern of the transparent flexible display device and confidentiality of the content. The content is marked with specific confidentiality levels and evaluated. The content is processed using NLP to identify whether the content is sensitive. The method and system can also notify the user on the transparent portion of the transparent flexible display device about the restricted view of the confidential content.

The flow of the method and system is illustrated in the Figure 1.

In accordance with the method and system, a user creates multiple folds in a flexible and transparent mobile device, and then navigates entire mobile device functionality in folded condition. The user is identified as authenticated user by using camera facial recognition and eye focus on the device. The method and system provides software that selects content display portion and see through portion of the transparent flexible display device based on the bending pattern and user's focus direction....
