Description

Generally, advertisers manually tailor advertisements with different color palettes and decide advertisements for a specific website or rely on a serving platform to put an appropriate colored advertisement on the website.  The advertisers are typically interested in advertisements that attract attention but also work well on targeted publishers.  Publishers are interested in non-obtrusive advertisements that blend-in with websites.  Some display advertisements can lead to an opposite effect such as contrast with the website displaying the advertisement and create a negative experience.  Making the advertisement more attractive and matching with surroundings is an extremely important factor to increase the Click-Through-Rate (CTR) and make the advertisement an attention catcher.  Currently, advertisements are displayed based on geo-location and profile.  When users visit websites, the advertisements are displayed based on detected values such as, but not limited to, Internet Protocol (IP) address, user profile, gender and age.  Thus, approaches to enable more users to click on online advertisements are generally audience centric such as user interests, recently visited websites and user plans.
