Abstract

1. ABSTRACT In an equipment installation phase of a vehicle so called C-Brackets are used for guidance of electrical harnesses in harness installation in vehicle cross beams. The C-Brackets maybe standard parts. The C-Brackets are typically used on aluminum and on composite crossbeams for harness guidance. With the proposed "Bracket Stamp" it is possible to force fit two pins in one working step instead of two working steps, for fixing the C Brackets on the crossbeam. In addition, the risk of damaging the pins during force fitting is avoided with the Bracket Stamp. By this, technical effort in this process is reduced.

With the proposed "Bracket Stamp" it is possible to force fit two pins in one working step instead of two working steps, for fixing the C Brackets on the crossbeam. In addition, the risk of damaging the pins during force fitting is avoided with the Bracket Stamp. By this, technical effort in this process is reduced.

The "Bracket Stamp" enhances the ergonomics in the working process and improves the safety at work. ln the previous process a hammer and a bolt were used to force fit the two pins of the C-Bracket in two working steps.
