A method and system is disclosed for defining a term using images.  The term could be related to any term in natural language from adjective, adverb, verb, noun to proper names for example, people, organization, locations, entities or emotions.  The method and system retrieves a relevant image corresponding to the term from an image database.  The image is rendered to the user as a definition/information for the term.  

Description

Usually, a term is defined in a text form in a thesaurus, Wikipedia or dictionaries.  The method and system disclosed herein defines a term using images.  The term could be related to any term in natural language from adjective, adverb, verb, noun to proper names for example, people, organization, locations, entities or emotions.

The method and system, captures a user inputted term of interest in any languages like Spanish, German, Russian and etc., on, but not limited to, mobile, computer, tablet and etc. Thereafter, the method and system retrieves a relevant image corresponding to the term from an image database.  The image is rendered to the user as a definition/information for the term. For example, a user submits a term ‘chair’ to the system. The method and system renders an image of a chair for defining the term ‘chair’.
