User Attribute Specific Translation of Messages in Real Time

Currently, the age and geographic divide is having multitude of impacts in the way humans are communicating and exchanging information.

Example - Age divide - a teenager may make heavy usage of Internet acronyms, text message jargon, abbreviations and cyber slang. A middle aged person may find these messages less acceptable, even though s/he may be able to understand the message. An old aged person may not even understand the message. An example is - "IDK what you are saying" "I don't know what you are saying"

Example - Geographic divide - a person living in USA may not understand the actual meaning of message that says "searching for brinjal recipe" sent by an Indian. Similarly, a person in India may not understand the actual meaning of message that says "searching for eggplant recipe" sent by an American.

These communications can take place through various messaging devices (example instant/email messaging thru mobile/non-mobile devices).

The know solutions do not take user (sender/receiver) attributes (age, location) into consideration and don't operate real time. The user has to plug in the message that has to be translated manually and then view the limited translated results in the window of a web browser.

The solution proposed is to translate these types of messages to the message that is acceptable or understandable to the recipient - in real time - before the message is received by recipient. This translation will help in bridging the communication gap created by age difference or geographic distance.

Say, a teenager is communicating with his/her grandmother through messaging apps on a mobile device. The message translation has to happen instantly and delivered to the grandmother in real time so that there is no communication gap.

Core Solution -

Translate the location specific words/phrases, Internet acronyms, text message jargon, abbreviations and cyber slang in real time/on the fly based on sender/receiver details when a message is sent thru email or instant messenger using a portable (cell phone, tablet, etc.) or non-portable (laptop, desktop, etc.)
