Abstract

The present publication relates to lettuce varieties having tan seed color such as lettuce variety Diamond and lettuce variety Meritmore. Both varieties were in the public domain before 2010. The present publication further discloses that lettuce variety Cielo Verde (Vanguard Seed Inc.) is genetically identical to lettuce variety Tehama (Developed by Paragon Seed Inc.) based on 95 SNP markers that can be used for Tehama identification.

    The description of Lettuce variety Diamond in Document B discloses that lettuce variety 22

    Diamond has tan seed: 23
