Cloud Resource Allocation and Deallocation based on Presentation Advancement

During a recent conference, one of the speakers had setup a service to automatically tweet a picture that corresponded with the speakers slides whenever the speaker advanced the slides . The idea was very cool but the execution timing was off. It wasn't until almost 30 minutes after the talk that all of the slide pictures had been tweeted. The reason was because the speaker was tweeting the slides out based on a timer rather than on the actual advancement of the slides. What is needed is a way to attach a system trigger to the advancement of a presentation deck as proposed in this invention.

System triggers during the presentation could cause actions, such as:
executing a specific commands on a remote system in a live demo
tweeting or other social media updates
sending of email and/or SMS messages, such as sharing progress updates to future presenters or conference moderators/organizers
allocating/interacting with cloud resources

Disclosed is a System and Method to automatically perform a system defined event when a presentation deck is advanced.

Value Statements
Could be made part of a suite of presentation offerings
Could be licensed to competitors who have slide products: Microsoft, Apple, Google Docs, etc.

Sales and marketing demos could automatically spin up cloud resources and then destroy cloud resources based on the presentation advancing.

Could be used by social media content desks to ensure company content is promoted and distributed accordingly

Technical presentations are often accompanied by a live demonstration of a product or service . For example, a presenter may be speaking about a cloud technology and wants to give a live demonstration to highlight the new features being discussed throughout the talk. However, allocating / deallocating cloud resources is not instantaneous and thus the user may want to start provisioning pieces of the demo preemptively. At the same time, the speaker does not wish to pre-provision the service prior to the presentation, because the audience would not be able to see the live progress. The purpose of this invention is to provide trigger points in a presentation document in which events such as allocation / deallocation of a cloud resource may be initiated. Consider in the example above, the speaker may configure the presentation to being provisioning the cloud service several slides before the intended talking points for the service. The following implementation describes how this may be accomplished :
