With widely utilizing of Instance Message or Blogs, people often generate screen shots on local and show them to others conveniently. However, local links can't be attached to screen shot picture. It is not user friendly. The new idea extends picture description, proposes methods to write in & read out, and also supports authority control.

A Method to affix links to screen shot pictures

With widely utilizing of Instance Message or Blogs, people often generate screen shots on local and show them to others conveniently. However, local links can't be attached to screen shot picture. It is not user friendly. For example:

1) Tom has read a story and wants to share it with Alice. So he makes a screen shot and sends via IM.


2) Alice gets the picture and likes it very much after reading summary. But Alice could not open the link "Revealing the stories behind famous stone faces" because it has been part of picture and no longer be accessible.

In this disclosure, a new method is proposed to solve this problem. With the approach, Alice could access link easily. Also, security mechanism is included to prevent fake links.

There are three parts in new approach.

1> A Presentation mechanism in picture. See below: [area, address, privilege]

area is the coordinate of link area. Example: rectangle(x1,y1; x2, y2); Cycle(x1,y1; r) and so on;

address is target url address

privilege is for authority of accessing;

2> Write in & Read out.

When Tom creating a screen shot picture, mouse point will do every line scanning for the picture scope. And collect link address and area with action feedback.

For example, when mouse point scanning on non-url, there is a arrow for it; when scanning on url, it becomes to a hand with fingers. When Alice clicking url area, picture would read link out and allow her to access....
