Abstract

This invention discloses a new kind of password and the method to input it using mobile devices. Each key in the password is a combination of one character/digital number and one true/false value, user needs to input them at the same time. E.g. If the traditional password is '1 2 3 4 5 6', then new password could be '1(Y) 2(Y) 3(N) 4(N) 5(N) 6 (Y)'. For each key, the character/digital number is input using a traditional soft keyboard in the screen, the true of false value is input at the backside of the mobile phone. The true or false value can be input using physical button or the camera at the backside of the phone (Covering the camera with finger can represent true, while uncovering it represent false).

When using mobile devices in public, it's easy for others to peep the passwords that users input, which causes security issues. There are some ways to address the problem, such as displaying the keyboard out of order. However, those solutions still can not effectively solve the problem because passwords can also be captured and analyzed by others. Therefore, a way that is difficult to be detected is needed.

This invention discloses a new kind of password and the method to input it using mobile devices.
