Abstract

Currently, smart phone has played important role in our life. However, the keyboard in smart phone is not big enough, so we always press wrong key while inputting, it is very bad experience. A known solutions is zooming in the key, but zooming in one key will cover other keys, so user can not press the keys which are covered. While inputting Chinese, we will be always able to forecast what next letter can be available. So we combine the keys round the next letter as a region. This region can be considered as one key: the next letter. The user doesn't need to press the exact key, he/she just needs to press the region to input the next letter. This results in that the expected key becomes bigger, decreases the possibility of pressing wrong key and makes inputting more easier.

Chinese Pinyin consists of initials (声声) and finals (韵声). After inputting an initial, the next letter can be forecasted. So we create a region around the keys, the user can press this region to input the letter.


1. input an initial, for example, the user wants to input '', then he/she inputs letter 'd' first.


2. after pressing 'd', forecast next keys, next available keys are 'a', 'e', 'u', 'i', 'o'. Then create a region around those keys, different regions have different colors.
