Today with the wide use of mobile phones, mobile number has become the most important contact information associated with any individual. It is very common that we immediately share our mobile number with other people as our primary contact point. But then there are high chances that the person with whom you have shared your contact number can as well forward it to somebody else.

There is no way today where we can come to know that our contact is fowarded to some unknown person. That unknown person can be some agent who can bother you by frequently calling you for advertisements. Even worse if that unknown person misuses my contact information then that becomes a really bad headache for me.

The personal contact number of an important person( like CEO of any company) is something which only a few people should have. If his number is forwarded to any unknown person that might become really problematic for him/her. The CEO would really want to have a check that unwanted people do not get his/her personal contact number.

Consider a situation where there L2 support is working on some open issue with the customer. L2 is communicating customer response to the development head.
