Description:

The current balers have rollers installed in front of the bale chamber. In such

balers, when net wrapping device is without positive feeding then net material may

go directly in the feeding unit because of external factors like wind, crop build etc.

By using the net deflector, it can be ensured that net is pushed correctly on the

roller to help it enter the bale chamber.

Working:

The net deflector is mounted in front of the net feeding roller. This deflector

consists of bracket which can be called as deflector bracket. On this bracket,

flexible parts like curtain or elastic parts like spring teeth can be assembled.

The position of this bracket is crucial. It must not be placed too low w.r.t. net roller

as it may lead to net falling over the bracket. Also, the said bracket must not be

placed too high w.r.t. net roller as this may lead to crop build up.

In some existing balers, additional rollers have been placed in front of the feeding roller. But this becomes expensive due to extra cost incurred in roller and its

driving mechanism.
