Abstract

Nowadays, mobile phone receives hundreds of text messages a day. Some of these messages could be spam messages, and some of them could be time-efficient text messages with verification code. These text messages occupy mobile phone much memory and waste time when clearing them. Our solution adds a trigger condition 'Text messages with Read status/Unread status' and trigger time before clearing. Take text messages with verification code for example, directly delete messages with keywords 'Verification code' will cause incorrectly clear useful messages. Our solution is that, only after user reading the text messages, the system could defect.

Nowadays, mobile phone receives hundreds of text messages a day. Some of these messages could be spam messages, and some of them could be time-efficient text messages with verification code(Most web sites will send text messages with verification code to the registered account's mobile phone when authenticating account information or call account password back). These text messages occupy mobile phone much memory and waste time when clearing them.

Two major solutions to clear text messages are:

1)Put specified phone numbers into blacklist. Then reject all the text messages from these phone numbers. 2)Set specified keywords. Then reject all the text messages containing the keywords.

The two current solutions would cause user missing some important text messages and can not automatically delete text messages with verification code.

Our solution's core idea is adding a trigger condition 'Text messages with Read status/Unread status' and trigger time into User Rules.

Basing on User Rules, user can set Trigger condition: 1)The text messages is Read or Unread

2)The time to do related actions

If the user set the trigger time to 24 hours, then the message would be processed as user-defined in 24 hours after the message is read. And, user can also set trigger condition in Unread status. All the trigger conditions could be set by demanding. Including,

Compared with two major solutions to clear text messages, our solution advantages are:

1) Avoid missing text messages. Simply reject text messages according phone number or keywords must cause missing useful text messages 2)Avoid incorrectly deleted text messages. Simply delete text messages according keywords must cause a lot of incorrectly deleting. 3)Besides clearing messages, provide a method to manage message. User could put all unread status messages together and read them at a time.
