Abstract

When people interact with cell phone to get useful information, when browsing a PC website, the content of page is largely limited by the screen's size, or when browsing mobile web site, the page is designed to be a very long stripe in order to display as much information as posssible, the user experence is bad, user has to slide up and up for many times. In this invention. It supply a more flexible mechanism that user can use to locate information with efficiency. It define a specific zone(sub-screen) which user can interact with touch and sliding actions. When user touch any position on the zone-screen, will switch to display the corresponding content in main-screen quickly, user need to sliding on main-screen up and down to reach the right place. When user sliding on the sub-screen with different pressure, the main-screen will scroll the current display with different speed and distance.

At present, smart phones are becoming an important tool for people to obtain information and entertainment. Everyone uses smart phones every day, and gets useful information from them to complete various production activities. To do so, user interact with the phone by sliding or zooming.

The interaction with the phone is sometimes disturbed by the following problems:
1). When browsing a PC website, the content of a page is largely limited by the screen's size, and user need to zoom in to see clearly what they want. However, user may not fell upon what they are looking for after zooming, so user have to slide left and right, up and down to locate the wanted information. As the page is now many times zoomed in, each slide can only move the screen by a relatively short distance. If the information is far away, it will take lots of slides which are a waste of time and not a good user experience at all.

2). When browsing some mobile web, for the same reason of small screen size, the page is designed to be a very long stripe in order to display as much information as possible. If user wants to go to a place at the bottom, he has to slide up and up for many times. These areonly two examples. To promptly find the information which is far away out of the screen, we have no other choice but to slide continuously because of the small size of the screen.

In this invention, It define a specific zone(sub-screen) which user can interact with touch and sliding actions. When user touch any position on the zone-screen, will switch to display the corresponding content in main-screen quickly, user need to sliding on main-screen up and down to reach the right place. When user sliding on the sub-screen with different pressure, the main-screen will scroll the current display with different speed and distance. The speed and distance an be more faster on slower than the system default value. In these ways, it supply a more flexible mechanism that user can use to locate information with efficiency.

1) Define a specific zone(sub-screen) on the main screen of cellphone , the zone will be highlighted once enabled, and users can adjust its size or positiion by dragging the boundary.
