Abstract

A method and system is disclosed for reducing fat-finger advertisement (Ad) errors in browser environment. The method and system efficiently reduces an error rate of fat-finger ad-clicks by implementing the inverse industry logic that slows down process of displaying web pages corresponding to unintentionally clicked advertisements by users. Users are presented full screen of web pages corresponding to clicked ads only after a preset threshold time period, allowing the users enough time to reverse the decision of viewing web pages if it is determined to be unintentional.
