A method and system is disclosed for using image files as login credentials for mobile applications.  The method and system provides a simple, safe and easy-to-use login technique for mobile applications by using image files as authenticating attributes.  One or more image files are used for authenticating users via drag-drop of the one or more image files into login selector dialogs/blocks.

Disclosed is a method and system for using image files as login credentials for mobile applications.  The method and system provides a simple, safe and easy-to-use login technique for mobile applications by using image files as authenticating attributes.  One or more image files are used for authenticating users via drag-drop of the one or more image files into login block of a mobile application.  Subsequently, the method and system authenticates the users by comparing the image login credentials and unlocks the mobile applications. 

In accordance with the method and system, as shown in the figure 1, a user registers a mobile application by choosing one or more image files as login credentials.  The one or more image files are stored in one or more mobile devices such as, but not limited to, mobile phone, tablet and PDA.  When the user selects one or more image files as login credentials into a selector dialog, the method and system creates hash values one by one and maps...
