Abstract

Disclosed is a method and system for automatically recommending a product package to a user based on the user’s personal needs and preferences.  The personal needs and preferences are used to guide the user for modifying current health and fitness status.  The current health and fitness status is modified by selecting a targeted health and fitness status from a fitness map of the user including different facial variations of the user.

Disclosed is a method and system for automatically recommending a product package to a user by personalized visualization.  The personalized visualization is used to analyze, predict and set goals to increase purchase intention of users and bridge a gap between users’ needs and product recommendations.

FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an implementation of the method and system for automatic recommendation of product packages to a user.

As shown in FIG. 1, a user profile and data collected from the user is used for user profile analysis and visualization analysis.  Accordingly, the user’s profile such as health status of the user is analyzed by facial appearance of the user to create an intuitive and visible health summary of the user.  The facial appearance is analyzed by a face contour which reflects health and fitness status of the user with different facial variations.  Further, the reflected facial appearance is personally visualized to set goals for a targeted fitness facial appearance.  The targeted facial appearance is selected from different facial variations provided by the system for the user’s reference.  Thus, based on the goals set by the user, the system generates guidance related to exercise adherence suggestions and nutrition adherence suggestions for achieving the targeted goal.  Also, the guidance generated by the system is based on the user’s preferences.  Additionally, based on the user’s preferences and the guidance generated by the system, product packages are recommended to the user to bridge a gap between the users’ need and e-commerce products.

As shown in FIG. 2, a user profile is analyzed to create an intuitive and visible health summary of the user by analyzing facial appearance of the user.  The facial appearance is analyzed by a face contour which reflects health and fitness status of the user.  Further, to modify the health and fitness status of the user, a face mesh as shown in 2b and 2c is created and wrapped to the user’s face to either stretch or shrink the user’s face by conducting the coordinate transformations.  The coordinate transformations are made by mapping each pixel in original photo to destination photo.  Thus, in order to create the face mesh fitting the user’s face, face feature points of current fitness statu...
