A method for providing a compose window with one or more pre-defined email addresses using a single gesture is disclosed.  The method enables a user to pre-define one or more email addresses to pre-fill the compose window.  Once the one or more email addresses are defined, the pre-defined email addresses are pre-filled in the compose window whenever the user performs a gesture to compose a new email.

Traditionally, a user taps on a compose button which get to a normal compose window.  Currently, if a user wants to compose an email quickly the user is required to press on the compose button and then a list of frequently emailed contacts are provided to the user.  In this process, the user still need to tap at least twice to get to the compose window pre-filled with the appropriate email address.

Disclosed is a method of providing a compose window with one or more pre-defined email addresses using a single gesture.  The method enables a user to pre-define one or more email addresses to pre-fill the compose window.  The pre-defined email addresses may or not may not belong to the user.  Once the one or more email addresses are defined, the pre-defined email addresses are pre-filled in the compose window whenever the user performs a gesture to compose a new email.  The gesture can be long-press on a compose button in an inbox or any other suitabl...
