System and Method for Optimal Webpage User Experience using Virtual Web Browser Repository

Disclosed is a system and method for optimal web page user experience using a virtual

web browser repository.

Web resources today must be developed to render appropriately for an array of web browsers, whether they be Desktop, Tablet or Mobile based. Although not a new issue, the tablet and mobile boom has resulted in a multiplicative number of configurations and compatibility tests that are required to ensure a satisfying user experience. Relatively seemless to end users, the development cycle to support the vast number of browser incompatibilities wreaks havoc on corporations to comply and provide an optimal web experience.

Emulators and browser compliance software exist for developers to provide trial and error testing, however no solution exists that dynamically displays the web resource in the developer's selected browser due to limitations in dictating browser availability of an end-user.

Example: Mary is trying to view a video about a product that she is looking to purchase. Unfortunately, she cannot get the video to play in her web browser. Frustrated that she can't get the video to play, she concludes that if the product demo is this user friendly, the product itself must be worse. Mary purchases a competitor product.

Example: Carlos owns a business with a security system. He purchased a contract that include administration of the security system from his mobile phone. Sadly, the website is not compatible with his phone. He's forced to cancel his contract with the company.

The disclosed system and method identifies the most optimal browser for rendering a

webpage by allowing developers to include a unique HyperText Markup Language ( HTML) metadata tag, called 'optimalbrowser' in this article. In addition, if the browser is not available on the user's system, that the browser is made available to the user through a private cloud....
