Abstract

When we go to office or back home, the using habits are totally different, and this difference need many different context mode. Our core idea focuses on creating/replicating the mobile context mode rapidly and obviously. We can not only implement the replication operation by draging and droping the area directly, but also complete the inherition of the context mode through making areas nested.

When we go to office or back home, the using habits are totally different. For instance, we prefer to use working related APPs at office and using game or video related APPs at home. However, we have to waste a lot of time on finding those APPs in different location because of the different using habits in those places.

Our disclosure is aiming at resolving the problem in backgroud. Our core idea is circle some location, name them and choose the most used APPs. When the next time you go into the location, the mobile phone will be automatically changed to the contextual model the user defined last time, including different APP position, wallpaper, ring type and so on.

Steps to implement the disclosure:


1. User can go into setting page and a map will be displayed to locate your position.

2. User can draw a closed curve on the map and then define this location such as "Home" or "Office".

3. After this action, the user can define a new desktop mode: choose and sequence the APPs according to use habits, sets different wallpaper, Wifi, GPS, Auto HF, Auto pick up, Ringing type and so on.

4. After saving the new mode, the mobile phone can be automatically change to "Office" mode when user move into office area next time. And the new mode would have the different settings with default mode such as different desktop, different wallpapaer, different ringing type and so on.

1. The system can define a circle, which center is the user-self, and the radius can be customized by user. This is to define the user's location.

2. When this circle is 100% not in any user defined location like following pic, the mobile phone will be displayed in default mode.


3. When the circle contains one user defined location such as "Home" mode, the mobile phone will be changed to "Home" mode

4. When the circle contains more than one user defined location such as 10% "Office" and 30% "On the way", the mobile phone will change the mode which has more percentage of location in the circle such as "On the way" mode in this sample.
