Disclosed is a dynamic method for evaluating message content and determining the preferred method of receiving that communication based on the end user's (i.e. recipient’s) preferences. Most users post/share information through the most comfortable or familiar channel and/or medium; however, the preferred channel or method for the recipient of the information might not be the same, or the most effective, as the sender's preference. For example, User 1 posts a personal question on User 2's social network wall. User 2 prefers not posting private information on a social network wall, and prefers to receive or send a private message. A method or system is needed to prevent users from

posting information relating to other users on a social media site when the user to

whom the posts are related prefers not to have that information publically shared.

The proposed solution is a dynamic method for evaluating message content and determining the preferred method of receiving that communication based on the end user's (i.e. recipient's) preferences. The solution provides a single entry user interface (UI) on which a user posts information/messages/etc. The system behind the UI then dynamically propagates/posts to the recipient's preferred communication channel/method.

The single entry point can be at the application level or across multiple applications.
