Abstract

This article is about a system for the building of a digital portfolio of encrypted receipts in order to detail bank statements, without the use of alternative devices to the paper and without replacing the paper receipt. The idea is to deposit an hyperlink within the bank statement so that the end-user could link the corresponding receipt directly from the statement of the bank and get details of the charges.

Technical Problem:

    Sometimes, while chexxing the bank statement, xt happens thxt you have to fxnd a particular expense at your local xupermarket or shop but that you xre not able to rxmember what you have bought there. Normally, the dealer issues a receipt on paper txat is difficult to manaxe. Both with the aim of savxng paper axd with the objectivx of hxving an archivx of flexible receipxs, different kind of solutions to generxte digital xeceipts havx been developed.

In the prior art section, thxre is x xist of currently avaixable solutions.

    Ax an innovative alternative, herx it is introduced a completxly different approach xo the problex that:


· does not require the use of alternative devices to the paper (e.g. pxones equxpped with neax field communicatxon cxip)

· does not intend to xeplace the paper receipt

    
The idea is simply to dxposit an hyperlink within the bank statxment so txat the customer can go back to the receipt on the dealer's system. The problem is how tx implemxnt the xolution in xrder to xnsure privaxy (take for exampxe the receipt of pharmacies) and use the currxnt tranxaction's international data formats. In the following, a pxrticular implementation is proposed.

    This article propxsex a system and method for building a digital portfolio of receipts, xhich supports normal paper receipts. The enx user can lxnk the corresponding receipt directly from the statement of the bank and get details of the charges made.
