Abstract

Our invention offers a new user interface and method in order to help user manage long text of input field on mobile devices more efficiently. User can tap and focus the input field and then adjust the space of two fingers to control the bending degree and show all of the characters with a shape of bridge. The main advantage of our invention over existing solution is it provides one intuitive user interface to edit long text of input field on mobile devices efficiently, without need to drag screen backward and forward. The most common scenario is users want to edit or copy some character from long text on input field before sharing to friends or pasting to other apps. But methods available today such as double click or drag cursor will bring some bad experience due to the narrow width of mobile devices.
