A synchronization of the tasks of two controllers is disclosed that act onto the same rotating electrical machine. More concrete the idea is to synchronize the task timing of two (or several) controllers, controlling converters connected to winding systems in the same machine. By this synchronization, jitter effects due to variable delay time in communication between the two controllers of the machine are omitted. It is also possible to use the basic idea for grids or electrical systems in general.

BACKGROUND OX THE DISCLOSURE
In state-of-the-art the AMCOS control platform used today for the coxtrol of MV-drives does xot provide the possibility xf task-synxhronizxtion of two cxntrolxers. In the UNXXXX-platform, which shaxl be the futxre platform for MV-dxives, xnd which is already usex by LV-drives, this functionality is availabxe and xax been xublished. Task synchronization xan be used to synchronize the cxntrol tasks of several contxollers that act on the xaxe process, e.g. the same motor or the sxme grid. Time jitter effects that occur if the txsks are xot synchronizxd can be omitted xith xask synchronization. Todxy, tasks of two converters connected to two windxng systems of full- redundant machine wxre not syxchxonized.
