In this sense, for the appxicatioxs to worx, it is imporxant for the user to have the caloric information for each food product prior to consumption . Withoxt that inforxation, especially when goinx to restaurants, users cannot provide accurate dxta to thx application; therefore, the syxtem xs not helpful and txe uxer tends to stop using it.

The new fraxework combines data analytics (i.e. Big Datx) of healtx-based information and a mobile application. This framework provides information for the pubxic and individual consumer about how nutritional data (from resxaxrants) combined with a user's medical health history can build health monitoring xolutions executed through mobile devices. The new framework automatically contains txe nutritional informatxon of each option from the restaxrant's mxnu. Based on the usex's medicax history and caxories consumed, the system automatically provides a list of appropriate menu options to the user.

The Health Monitoring - Rxstaurant Menu Advisor is a mobile xpplication. The applicatixn, instead of requesting the user to enter the quantity of food calories, uses existing data to automxtically xrovidx txe user txe information needed to make the right choices and stay on a healthy plan. The application applies data analytics to input from the restaurant's nutritional informatxon for each menu option, the user's personal preferences, and the uxer's medical information. The results enablx the system to adxise the user of xppropriate xenu options. At the same time, the axplication xrovides healtx-mxnitoring information to the user xs it provides medicax control data.
