As it is always said, the better you know the one you're negotiating with, you can usually achieve a better result. However, it is never easy, especially for the inner part of a person you are not familiar with. Some very experienced negotiators are good at observing people and can adjust their negotiation strategies immediately. But for most of us, it's more like a mission that is not achievable.

What if you have an (invisible) super detective by your side who can understand your opponents immediately through the words they just said? And, even better, what if the super detective can immediately summarize their personality traits to you and suggest you the negotiation strategies you may take to achieve a better result?

This disclosure defines a method of generating real-time negotiation suggestions during a conversation based on cognitive and linguistics analysis on verbal and non-verbal information.

The system comprises of a client application on mobile device that includes a Capturing Module [002] and a Display Module [006], it also includes a Analysis Module [003], a Rule Engine [004], a Recommendation Generation Module [005] and a Profile Database [001] in the cloud. Based on the above invented framework, the method can:
(1) retrieve user's information from Profile Database [001]

(2) continuously monitor a person during a conversation

(3) capture the verbal and non-verbal information (voice, gesture, facial expressions, etc) of the person when requested, using Capturing Module [002]

(4) analyze the personal personality and characteristics based on collected information and historical data , using Analysis Module [003]

(5) match the person's personality and characteristics factors with domain-specific rules for their negotiation impacts (Rule Engine [004])

(6) generate summarized negotiation recommendations based on the rules fired (Recommendation Generation Module [005])
(7) render the output on the screen of mobile device (Display Module [005]

(8) persist the analysis results and parameters in the Profile Database [001]

Except of providing negotiation recommendations, the same framework can be used to trigger other pre-defined actions. E.g. when detecting sentences with extremely strong hostility, the system will automatically call a police or send messages to pre-defined contacts with location information after user's confirmation.
