Disclosed is a method and system for focusing on a favorite playback section of media. The method and system automatically identifies user's/consumer's favorite playback section of the media and repeats the favorite section to make musical sense, wherein the rhythm is consistent with the overall track.  The playback sections may be, but not limited to media snippets and media clips.

The method and system monitors and learns user behavior/reaction while the user is listening to a media file to identify the user's favorite media snippets of the media file. The user's favorite media snippet are automatically documented and captured with various triggers. For example, the triggers includes monitoring user's behavior/habits such as continuously rewinding an audio, user's reaction to songs based on decibel level at an event/concert, etc.  The user's favorite media snippets can be manually or automatically inserted into the songs to make musical sense based on the overlay of audio.  For example, the overlay of the audio includes grouping of bars, an algorithm to count beats, etc.  The method and system determines the appropriate times to insert the user's favorite sections to the songs and frequently repeats the process to make musical sense to the media file.  The user's favorite media snippet is replayed in an optimal manner using a learning feedback system which starts the beat and tempo at varying times. The user is recommended with new potential media snippets of the media based on current profile of the user.

In one implementation, the system includes a media player that reads a media file and plays media using a user device. The media player includes user controls buttons such as forward, rewind, start, stop, pause, etc. The system also includes a media analysis component that determines a logical structure of the media such as beat, musical bar, 4 musical bar, 16 musical bar, breaks, etc. The media analysis component analyses the media either on discovery or at a point of playing.

The system includes a user intent sensors buttons such as rewind, back, forward, play, pause, etc. The more complex user intent sensors determine when users behavior/ reaction such as walking on/off, start/stop dancing on a dance floor.
