Disclosed is a system that automatically determines who might be interested in the content captured in a photograph that the user took on a mobile device, and then automatically sets up a next step (e.g., email, calendar entry, invitation, etc.) for managing or sharing that information. As users receive large volumes of information through a variety of applications and programs, the tasks to receive, manage, follow up, transfer, and/or share that information often requires multiple steps and can be overwhelming or frustrating to a user. Users need an efficient method to manage information overload in the modern, fast-paced world. Specifically, when a user captures a photograph and wants to share it, a helpful program would automatically identify other users that are interested in the content and then automatically set up the next step (e.g., email, calendar entry, invitation, etc.).

The contribution is a method for preserving useful information from an image when utilizing text detected on a natural graph taken by a cell phone. The associated system combines a geographical positioning system (GPS) with text

extracted from image information. It then utilizes the combined GPS and extracted text information to determine a set of possible receivers for the extracted reserved information. The system can then compose emails on the mobile phone

with the extracted text and attach the image. If a conflict arises with the extracted text information, then the system displays an alert to said conflict. If the image is of a product (commodity), then the system can display a list of on-line store for purchasing the product.

In addition, the system includes a method for sending reminders or booking calendar events/invitations when utilizing text detected on a natural graph taken by a mobile phone. The system combines GPS information with text extracted from the image information, and then utilizes the combined information to determine a set of possible receivers/invitees for the event information extracted from the image.

The key idea is to connect the interests of friends and acquaintances with any information that can be extracted from an image, including GPS coordinates, time of year/day, recognized objects etc., and when a connection is detected, act upon it.
