The main function of an intrusion detection system is to alert the occupants of a household of a trespasser based on a set of sensors. This helps keep a house safe and prevents unwelcome intrusions or break-ins. This proposal is to ignore under certain conditions movement of an electronic chip when an intrusion detection system is enabled.

The main function of an intrusion detection system is to alert the occupants of a household of a trespasser based on a set of sensors. This helps keep a house safe and prevents unwelcome intrusions or break-ins. In the market, you will find a variety of systems that prevent intrusion. However, there is a big difficutly to selectively activate such intrusion detection system in case where a pet stays at home and can generate fale alerts. This proposal solves the problem by ignoring movement of an electronic chip neighbourhood when an intrusion detection system is enabled.

Nowadays Internet Of Things solutions are more and more popular at house. This invention benefits from communication between home intrusion detection system and a chip mounted to pet's collars to identify and ignore marked pet movement's while detecting trespassers and tranined dogs used in the act of crime.


a) intrusion detection system contains a set of sensors to detect trespasers (like infrared, ultrasound, optical etc)


b) if a sensor detect a trespaser intrusion detection system verifies if the moving object has a marker which is wirelessly connected to the intrusion detection system (e.g. a chip in the pet's collar). This can be an 'Internet Of Things' based device which location can be identified by:

marker signal level strength
position of the marker reported based on global positioning system
