STEPPED PLUNGER FOR BOOSTER PEDAL FEEL

The distance between reaction disc and output rod defines the jump-in and gain for a booster. The normal plungers have only a single step. But the stepped plungers have two-step process. That creates a gradient in the response function. The normal designs on valve pistons are flat and domed. The domed plunger rounds up the jump-in values. However, a two-step makes it in a way that it provides two different curves for the pedal feel. This helps in tuning the required pedal feel for certain vehicles especially in the transition region.
