Abstract

Disclosed is an automatic suggesting mechanism for suggesting suitable candidates for a job as per the skill set and expertise needed for that job position and suggesting jobs for a candidate as per the skillset and expertise of the candidate. Analyze organizational historical data of the failed or rejected candidates from their applicant tracking system and compare scores of such candidates and use it as in parameter to the algorithm.

Motivation:

Selecting appropriate candidates for a job and searching for job relevant to candidate skill set is crucial based on candidate's caliber and required skill sets of a job position .Find a way to suggest suitable candidates for a job as per the skill set helps finding the right candidate for a job with confidence. Can there be a solution to save recruiters time while hiring candidates to a job by suggesting good skilled candidates and for candidates by suggesting appropriate job. Use organizational historical data of the failed or rejected candidates from their applicant tracking system and compare scores of such candidates and use to identify appropriate candidates for a job.

Proposal:

This proposes to provide a system which could analyze organizational historical data and could suggest the relevant jobs to the candidates and relevant candidates to the recruiters of a job.

• Through data analytics the system can find the candidates in Assessment data base system who scored more in a particular competency for a particular proficiency level and will search in Applicant Tracking System or any other recruitment sites to check if there are any jobs opened matching with this particular skill set. If any jobs found then the recruiter can suggest the candidate about the open jobs based on his assessment scores as well as outcomes for past candidates who have scored similarly and selected for another job in the same organization.
