To keep personal information safe, people are using different kind of locking methods on smart phones, and they may choose to use very complicated passcode, so they may forget the passcode. A method to retrieve passcode is important.

The invention provided here solves the problem by sending severial real time photos or launch a video call to a contact from the contact list( could be a person you recently contacted or someone in an emergency contact list), after the person who receives the photos or the video call, he could confirm your identity, a confirmed reply would be sent from the contact person to your phone, then the phone would call a reset program for you to set a new passcode.

In this invention, take Lucy for example,

Lucy forgets passcode for her smart phone, so she click the Forget passcode

                                            Forget passcodebutton on the login screen for help. Then she has a chance to choose whether to use real time photos or launch a real time video call to the contact person( the contact information is in the phone, from recent contact list or emergency contact list, it should not be seen untill the screen unlocked), after she choosed, the phone system would call the contact person, if the person do not want to offer help, then the system change to another one.
