Abstract

This invention discloses a system and method to warn mobile users during acceleration and deceleration towards moving direction of a vehicle. Acceleration or deceleration is detected by vehicle ECU which can receive signals from the brake and the accelerator pedal. The information of acceleration/deceleration is broadcast to mobile devices via wireless signal. The moving direction of vehicle can be calculated by two different GPS locations from mobile device because it is also moving with vehicle. The orientation of mobile screen can be got from its gyroscope. After that, system calculates the angle between these two directions. System forces content on mobile device to move towards mobile device orientation and rotate to the angle calculated. In this way, the content on mobile device move towards to the running direction of vehicle. User can take proper action on the opposite direction.

Nowadays, more and more people like playing mobile devices during taking a public vehicles. Sometimes, they are focusing on the content from mobile device, he/she fails to hold on something and falls down due to the sudden speed change.

Is there a good way to warn passengers who are focusing on mobile screen during the acceleration and deceleration of vehicle to avoid bumping and injuries in time?

This invention discloses a system and method to warn mobile users during acceleration and deceleration towards moving direction of a vehicle. Acceleration or deceleration is detected by vehicle ECU which can receive signals from the brake and the accelerator pedal.

The information of acceleration/deceleration is broadcast to mobile devices via wireless signal.

The moving direction of vehicle can be calculated by two different GPS locations from mobile device because it is also moving with vehicle. The orientation of mobile screen can be got from its gyroscope. After that, system calculates the angle between these two directions.
